Steal Something From Work Day
Today is April 15 - Steal Something From Work Day!
You work exhausting hours doing backbreaking, soulcrushing labour, and all it does is make your boss a big profit while you can't even afford to live? That's capitalism! You're not being paid the full value of your labour. Instead, your corporate overlords steal it and call it "profit".
To fight back against this injustice, millions all over the world steal from their workplace, and April 15th is the most prominent day to recognize and celebrate this act of retribution. Whether it be the occasional petty theft of food or office supplies, or full-on embezzlement and leaking of confidential corporate data, workers of the world unite to take back at least a tiny bit of their workplace, so they may improve the lives everyone should be able to enjoy without being tied down to a terrible and unfulfilling job.
Need to print off a tax form but don't have paper at home? Help yourself to some stationery! Are you tired and hungry, and aching for a snack or some caffeine after your shift? Grab something off the shelf or display case! Do you or a neighbor have an appliance or vehicle that could use a tune-up? Take a wrench set from the garage! Struggling to make rent this month? Slip some cash from the register into your pocket! Feeling aches and pains, or need to use the restroom? Don't record your break time and take some time to relax on the clock! You've earned it! You can also steal from your work by giving to others, or letting them shoplift in peace without being harassed by loss prevention. Give away extra food and drinks; don't charge for that latte or cup of water; distract the loss prevention personnel so that they can't stalk the single mother stealing canned food or diapers for her family.
Your selfish employers are not interested in distributing resources as widely and efficiently anyway, so look for opportunities to do so yourself and take them!
